Hayward Chemical Controllers

This collection holds 19 Hayward chemical controllers, drawn from the CAT 1000 through CAT 6000 series and the HCC 2000 line. Eighteen are built for commercial pool applications and one for inground residential use. Configurations range from a single-parameter pH controller to multi-parameter systems that add ORP, conductivity, TDS, or free chlorine sensing, with options for standalone controllers or complete packages with pre-mounted feed pumps.

Start with what you need to measure: the CAT 1000 handles pH only, the CAT 2000, CAT 4000, and CAT 5000 packages add ORP, the CAT 5500 extends to conductivity/NaCl and TDS alongside pH and ORP, and the CAT 6000 measures true free chlorine directly along with pH and temperature. From there, decide how much remote visibility you need — some models operate locally with an LED or vacuum-fluorescent display, while WiFi-equipped packages like the CAT 4000 and CAT 5000 add app or web access, and the CAT 5000 and CAT 6000 extend that to cellular and satellite connectivity for offsite alarm monitoring.

The HCC 2000 controllers are simpler pH/ORP units with LED displays, NEMA 4X enclosures on the complete package, and a 1-year warranty on controller and factory labor. The CAT series steps up in both monitoring depth and coverage: controllers carry a 5-year limited warranty with 2-year sensor coverage (the CAT 2000 Standard is covered by a 5-year comprehensive warranty), and the CAT 6000 adds a 7-inch color touchscreen interface plus built-in WiFi and cellular connectivity not found on the LED or vacuum-fluorescent display models. NSF and ANSI Standard 50 certification appears on the CAT 1000, CAT 5500, CAT 6000, and HCC 2000 standalone unit.
