The Pentair Triton® C-3 36" High Capacity Fiberglass Side Mount Sand Filter (TR140C-3) is the black-finish version of the industry-standard Triton C commercial sand filter — same proven Glas®Lok fiberglass construction, multi-diffuser system, 3-inch flange connections, and 7.06 sq ft capacity as the TR140C, in a black tank color.
Patented Glas®Lok one-piece fiberglass-reinforced tank with UV-resistant surface finish, multi-diffuser for up to 20 GPM per sq ft, standard 3-inch flange connections, 8-inch sand access opening, and full 2-inch drain. Requires 650 lb of sand and 275 lb of pea gravel (not included). ANSI Standard 50 certified. Backed by a 2-year warranty.

The TR140C-3 and TR140C are identical in all performance specifications — both are 36-inch Triton C commercial sand filters with 7.06 sq ft of area, 3-inch flange connections, multi-diffuser, and 2-year warranty. The only difference is tank color: TR140C-3 is Black, TR140C is Almond. Choose based on your installation's aesthetic requirements or specification.
