Pentair THS Series 42" × 96" Horizontal Sand Filter
The Pentair THS Series 42" × 96" Horizontal Sand Filter is a large-format commercial sand filter rated for flow rates up to 535 GPM at 50 PSI — engineered for aquatic facilities, commercial pools, water parks, and large-volume installations. The horizontal tank design provides a compact footprint with front-access manway for maintenance in space-constrained equipment rooms.
Built with a composite laminate shell using Paracote water-based coating for remarkable surface protection. Features 6-inch flanged connections, influent manifold distribution to prevent clogging, and NSF approval for 5–20 GPM per sq ft. Optional manual, semi-automatic, and automatic backwash systems available for single and dual-tank configurations. Requires 2,800 lb of sand and 700 lb of pea gravel (not included). ANSI Standard 50 certified. Backed by a 2-year warranty.
