How does the C150S (150 sq ft) compare to the C200S (200 sq ft)?
Both are SwimClear single-element cartridge filters with identical Easy-Lok ring, comfort grip handles, and 120 GPM flow rating. The C150S has 50 sq ft less filter area — a slightly shorter tank (ships at 35.5 in vs. 40.5 in) requiring only 15 in of vertical clearance vs. 18 in for the C200S. Choose the C150S for smaller pools or installations with very limited vertical clearance; choose the C200S for more filter area and longer cleaning intervals.
How often does the cartridge need cleaning?
Clean when the pressure gauge reads 8–10 PSI above the clean starting pressure. Use the Easy-Lok ring to open the tank, remove the single cartridge, and rinse with a garden hose. Frequency varies by pool size and usage.
Does it require backwashing?
No. The SwimClear is a cartridge filter — no backwash cycle. Simply remove the cartridge and rinse with a garden hose.
