How does the C9002 (90 sq ft) compare to the C12002 (120 sq ft)?
Both are Hayward Star-Clear Plus single-element cartridge filters in the same narrow 13.4-inch tank with the same single locking knob design. The C9002 is the smaller model — 90 sq ft, 90 GPM, and a shorter 30-inch height with only 19 inches of vertical clearance required. The C12002 has more filter area (120 sq ft), higher flow (120 GPM), and is slightly taller (36 in). Choose the C9002 for smaller pools or where the absolute minimum vertical clearance is needed.
How often does the cartridge need cleaning?
